The Beyond the Cult White Paper
It is our pleasure to present to you the white-paper we will be presenting to the Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry into Cults and Fringe groups. This paper condenses years of cult research and sociology, maps out the current legislative framework in Australia and presents a cogent way forward. It will be uploaded here on Wednesday July 9, 2025

Our History
Founded on the principles of survivor leadership, we bring together individual advocacy experience spanning decades. We now band together in advocating for justice, raising awareness, and building a community dedicated to healing and policy change for cult survivors.
Survivor Initiatives
We lead the Victorian Cult Survivor Network, and work together in the Stop Religious Coercion Australia and SOCCHG work group to create cogent, workable law-reform solutions. There is much more to come, as we engage with front line services, research organisations and survivor support bodies. Watch this space
Our Values
We prioritize survivor autonomy, transparency, and compassion in all our efforts, believing that survivors are best suited to lead the way toward meaningful reform. We treat respect for all people as a non-negotiable, and strive for inclusivity and equality in all we do.
Get involved
Join us in our mission to support cult survivors through advocacy, education, research and law reform. Together, we can create a safer society free from coercive control.
